This is a very short guide how to play vladimir he has been my main for a while now and i believe he is one of the strongest mage's in the fields of justice when played right.

NOTE: This guide is a guideline, for example if the enemy caster is really fed you should consider buying some MR before getting some AP. Also if you play against a very mobile champion or one who relies on snares or skillshots you should consider buying tier 2 boots before building your AP.

Magic penetration speaks for itself, you are a mage and you need the penetration to keep the late game burst.

Abiltity power is very important on vladimir not only for his spells but it also gives him health, since vladi has a slow begin game i choose flat Ap for the extra health.

I think CDR on vladimir is very important because i helps you harrassing your opponent and since your Q gives you health it gives you a great deal of substain.

I go for the typical AP carry masteries, i have tried both tank vladimir and ultillity vladimir which are viable too. But i think vladimir has a pretty good substain and needs the AP and dmg to keep up with the punishment other AP casters have.

Until you hit lvl 6 just keep last hitting the creeps and sometimes use your E, since the nerf on vladimir you first need to get your hextec to be able to spam your E for the 4 stacks. As soon as you have some more ap you can start pushing and spamming your E to keep the 4 stacks up. So you can deny your opponent creeps and gold.
