olaf is a really tanky champ so you can initiate but always use your ult even when they are not tageting you.he has a great advantages agiasnt melee i would solo with olaf on twisted treeline or summoners rift

Pros: axe slows people it hits
can deal true damage with reckless swing
very tanky
ult makes you immnune to cc
has good escape with ult

Cons: deals damage to himself when using reckless swing

olaf is very tanky when you rush a frozen mallet you can buy beserkers or tabis or mercury trends for tanking then you get atmas because 2% of your hp converts to ad so you can be tanky and still have 220 ad.
