Well, I have been playing a lot of Talon lately, and I've actually built heavy Cutthroat. Your way really seems a lot better for farming.
But, Zephyr makes a lot more sense on ADCs, or at least I personally think so, because they do build their Attack Speed as a primary resource for their DPS. Vayne is probably the greatest example of such building (aka my main), because her Silver Bolts damage gets in an awful lot quicker with the movement speed as well as the attack speed increase.
But I do admittedly see the viability of it on Talon. Makes it a lot easier to engage with E and then Q and W. But on that note, I have a thing to consider. To use less mana and need less CD to repeat in case, as well as apply his passive on a constant basis: Frozen Mallet? It also gives health (and a good chunk) in case something goes really wrong and you take a great amount of damage.
Also, Zephyr and Black Cleaver both pair well with this effect. Pretty much, spectacularly high chase damage.
Really a great guide, and I learned a lot from it. Never again will my Talon be atrocious at farming early XD
Zephyr isn't a item I would recommend building on Talon at all for the most part. In the guide, the only time I would suggest you get Zephyr is if you are full build, elixirs, etc. In that case, sell your boots for it. Most games do not usually drag out this long and you will not do this for like, maybe 90% of your games.
As for the mallet, it is an interesting idea to stick to the target and apply your passive, but you get so much movement speed with this build and your kit naturally [ult] that I don't think you really need it.
Plus, if you consider the item path for Mallet, it really is a big chunk of gold without getting any damage items. So you wont be increasing your damage output over time tbh versus just getting a BT or IE or something.
Alright-y, Wolf boy. In the warding section, you should also include the fact that wards placed on either side of the river (near wolves/blue and wraiths/red on either side) are really really good at allowing you to avoid ganks. A lot of players neglect those places- though junglers go through them very often. It's further into the jungle than other ward locations, and that means that you will know a gank is incoming well before it happens. Also, when you suddenly disappear, if the enemy is cautious/not-terrible-enough, they will signal for their team mates to be careful or they might even leave mid (allowing you to have it for yourself). This can cause a whole bunch of things to happen (good or bad) and is far too expansive for this one post. EITHER WAY.
tl;dr- Ward on either side of the river. Don't be an idiot. Don't die.
Ah yes, I should add that in. I'm coming back now to sorta update and polish all my guides. Really the only one that is going to be heavily changed is my Katarina one due to that new item, but I will update and refresh the other ones as well.
Thank you for the feedback and vote :)
Whoops, didn't vote before I commented. Great guide tho!
Haha, really? What item did you replace in order to build shiv? I wouldn't recommend it, but hey man if it worked play however you like :)
