Hello. Welcome to my guide to the newest addition to The League, Zed. Master of Shadows.

This is a work in progress, and this is also the first build I've ever made, so bare with this :) (Don't expect many pictures. It won't look pretty, but the content is good.)

First off: I'd like to say how unique Zed is very unique. He is, what I consider, the first Pure AD energy-based champion. (But Teg! What about Lee Sin?!)

Lee Sin is also AD and Energy based, but many people agree Tanky/AD is the best for Lee Sin, while Zed isn't exactly tanky. The only item I recommend buying with him that gives added health is Frozen Mallet.

Secondly, Zed's ultimate is so awesome. It can really turn a fight quickly. However, I find most Zed players (especially new ones) tend to use it in the middle/at the end of a fight. That's a definite no-no. Use it to start the fight, or after your first wave of attacks (more on ability use later)

Pros:

Recently New, so people don't know to how play against him
Great Assassin, can 1v1 most champions
Strong Mid/Late game
Best escape abilities

Cons:

Weak Early Game
Focused a lot (we'll talk about a way around that)
Very reliant on a fully stacked BloodThirster

Zed is actually a great counter to a lot of strong, considered OP champions. Keep in mind these are from my plays, and I will do my best to analyze match ups, based on what I know.
