... and you thought the heels hurt
Hey there, this is Starcaller here to bring you an in-depth look into the heel-stomping/rolling/WoW rogue reminiscent champion, Evelynn. Eve was the first champion I purchased with IP at level 6, and the only champion I played consistently since then. With almost 600 games as Eve, I guess you can call her my main |
|
Let's face it, Evelynn has a lot of bad rep. People often see her as just another champion to carry on their (no doubt highly muscular) backs. I would just like to note that this is often a well carried notion for many niche champions and certainly does encompass a great deal of potential Eve players, simply because they have no idea what they're doing. Though I will admit, she is currently underpowered in terms of early game damage- but is invaluable for her scouting and ganking utility. Assassins are suppose to snowball anyway, so it's all right. |
PROS
+Excellent scout, for some obvious reasons +You scare the living hell out of people. Those who pick up quickly gain a "Eve is always MIA" mentality. Psychologically corners people and restricts their gameplay. +One of the best champions to capitalize on bad positioning with[/color] +Ganks, lots of them. +Very easy to pick up kills with. You can play 'clean-up crew'. +Extremely demoralizing if you snowball early. |

CONS
-High learning curve. To be able to get into team fights without feeding the opponent's team and still doing lots of damage is something you learn with any champion who's a bit squishy. -You lost a stun. This seems to be a huge deal with a lot of people, but it wasn't a huge nerf. She just got a little harder to do well with. -It's very hard to carry serious games. -Easy to learn, hard to master. -Early game damage (roughly lvl 6) is pretty laughable. |
- High Synergy with summoner spells: Increased mobility and kill potential
- Minimizes risk potential by giving you the best counters possible
- Multiple builds to allow for flexibility and team composition
