Hello and welcome to my Akali guide! Akali has always been my favorite champion in the game I play her almost exclusively at 1900 . It pains me to see so many people misplay her in low elos and i`ve decided to wright a guide. Akali is my main in ranked and I am currently 1900 elo. She is a monster top. A lot of people build straight AD DO NOT DO THAT. You will learn when you get to high elo that it does not do as damage as AD Akali ( while i do build some hybrid items late game).

These are a must have. They provide a significant boost to your damage output and scale well into late game.
I feel that these increase Akali's DPS and allow easier last hitting under turret.

This is the current standard rune choice for carries. They will give you a good amount of AD early on, which is highly beneficial for last-hitting as well as for early trades.
Akali is squishy. This will allow you to soak up more physical damage during laning phase, and is a great protection against other carries during this phase. It will also allow you to come out on top in poke exchanges.

I go 21 in the offence and 9 in the defense tree.
I take deadliness and lethality instead of going for havoc because the damage Akali does benefits more from those, if you want more poke go with havoc.
My defense tree I found is the best all around for the laning phase if you know your lane match up alter accordingly.

The item route is pretty self explanatory I want to max out her attack damage and get some hybrid items late game so my abilities scale well.

If they focus you build defensive
and as always

I get q first for early burst at level 1 then get soul shroud to avoid ganks after that ignore soul shroud and alternate between your q and your w. As always get you ulti when ever you can the difernce between a good akali and a bad akali is how she uses her ultiment.

use your q for Harass and to farm evade and zone enemies with w and when facing multiple enemies use e use your r to cleanup fights.

Akali is my favorite top lane champion and in the right hands will wreck any team follow my build and wreck face!
