When facing a skilled Morgana,what I personally like to do is to try and bait out her shield,the trick to baiting it out is actually quite simple,whenever you want to engage,you have to time your flay and hook such that you would hook her while she is mid air form your flay.That requires your reaction speed to be fast,if you see her using her shield on either her or her adc, immediately go for the other person.Her shield has a very high cooldown therefore early game I would recommend playing aggressive and leveling up your hook at level 4 instead of leveling up your flay.Best way to counter a Morgana in lane is to basically watch out for her Q once her Q is gone you would only have to worry about her shield.Throughout the game your hook has a lower cooldown compared to her shield therefore it would be wise to make use of the time gap between her cooldown and your cooldown.One of the tricks I like to use as Thresh is one of the common ones.By putting your lantern at a area where the enemy has no vision,you could apply free zoning as they would think that your jungler is coming in for a gank.Another trick to playing Thresh is that his main hitbox for collecting souls and giving out shields is his lantern.Once your lantern gets close enough to collect the soul your should start running back in order to prevent getting damaged too much by the enemy champion and collecting souls to empower your shields,armor and AP.
