Good guide, yes... one problem... The Rewind doesn't affect the cooldown of Zilean's ultimate anymore. They changed it back when Zilean was 'tweaked' that his ultimate would no longer have its cooldown reduced by his W...

Hey so since Zilean's rework I developed a bit of a different Runes/Mastery setup, removing Ionian boots for more situational utility/offense in boots choice considering 2/9/19 masteries; 2 in CDR Offense, Standard 9 defense to Juggernaut, and 19 in utility up to Intelligence (3/3 Fleet, 3/3 ManaReg, 3/3 Insight, Biscuits, Gold Inc, 3/3 Intelligence) With an item build being quite similar: Sightstone, Situational Boot Choice, Frost Queen, Seraphs, Morello, Zhonyas, Oracles. Runes = 9 Mpen marks, 4 seals of health + 5 flat armor, 6 mr blues and 3 flat cdr blues. All in all this gives you max CDR, starting game with 10%, then Morello and Frost Queen Maxing CDR, with Situational preferred boots choices and your situational offense/defense items (Rabadons, Zhonyas, BV.) What do you guys think?

Newer player here, could someone give me a little more info on the 9-7-14 Mastery build?
What masteries are meant by 9-7-14?

goes over the top with cool down reduction when you could simply just take sorcerer shoes instead of lucidity and take 10% cdr in masteries or runes.

What are your thoughts on Guardian Angel on Zilean? If Zilean is alone he could GA back and then ulti back again, or in team fights when AG is up it would be ok to die and save ulti for your carries.

very nice guide. this guide made me change unholy grail to this tear setup, i gotta say it was hard in the beginning but i think it was worth it. note that this build might be hard if you are not ahead but usually works out.
theres nothing bad about this guide in general either. so its very suitable.
