Basics
The basic resources I recommend you look into:
- Responsive Columns by Katasandra — The primary type of BBcode used throughout my guide
- All BBcode-compatible hexcodes colors
- Jhoijhoi's guide for templates and the very basics
Basic Tips:
- Add: BBCode Preview — On MFN under:My Profile / Profile Settings / Betas
- Make a separate non-public guide for editing your guide so you'll keep access to past versions of your guide for a long time. Otherwise, they'll be lost very fast once you start working with code, as you are constantly saving/reloading to check if everything works. This can get very handy if you would need anything from your past versions you've deleted; I ran into this problem on multiple occasions.
- QuillBot — has been very helpful for me, as you can just type gibberish, and it will figure it out, other than traditional grammar correction. The paid version is only useful if you're having big trouble expressing yourself; I wouldn't really recommend it if you're not writing at least 15k words.
Video/picture embedding
I had a lot of trouble finding code that worked for embedding as well as host sites whose direct links didn't contain blacklisted content.
Pictures:
Embed Code:
Code:
[img=__DirectLink__ width=580]
Adjust: width=580 for, well, width. This is in pixels, but you can't write "px" behind it.
This Image hosting site is the only one I found that worked and was also free: https://postimages.org/
Note: Once Uplodet chose the direct link / ..._.png/.jpg
Video:
The only embed type other than YouTube that I found to give you a desirable result was going with webm, so we first need to convert the file: my converter (it doesn't matter which one you chose). I recommend you also lower the resolution to 720p and keep the clip short for quicker loading times on MFN.
Note: If you want a longer video, like +1 min, you should probably go over to YouTube. For that you can just use the embed feature on your toolbar within your guide editor.
Embed Code:
Code:
[webm url=__DirectLink__.webm autoplay=on loop=off width=600]
This Video hosting site is the only one I found that worked and was also free: https://webm.red/
Note: Once Uplodet chose: Link is not a direct link, as we already have the .wbm in the code; that's the only difference between them.
My header preset:
Code:
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i][/i][/b][/size][/color]
For actual white, the base color of text on MFN is a gray:
Code:
[color=#FFFFFF][/color]
Normal Spoiler-Box
Code:
[columns]
[nextcol width=625px]
[spoiler=__Spoiler-Box_name__]

[/columns]
URLs:
Code:
[url=__URL__ ] __Name_for URL__ [/url]
If you want to Center somthing, like the headers:
Code:

If you want to make code Visable:
Code:

I recommend you make a separate chapter in your editor for these so you can always easily copy and paste them.

Header Preset
For my header there isn't really an easy way to modify it besides the text and color of course, so if you'd like to use it, you'll just have to copy me.

To make the ToC functional, you'll have to lock into the 10 sec custom ToC guide.
You'll find these commands before the text in each column :

Adjusting main bodies
As you can see below (The Entire Code), there are three main bodies, one for each section of my guide (Champ profile/Gameplay/Other). You can remove one if you want fewer main bodies; but you'll need to adjust the width of the main column:
Note: The First one: (width=29%)
Code:
[col width=29% padding="5px 10px 5px 10px" bgcolor=# border-radius=15px border="2px #FF00FF "][center][color=#FFD700][size=5][i]Champ Profile[/i][/size][/color][/center]

The subsection's width is in % so you won't have to adjust those.
Sadly I can't highlight anything within the code, so you'll just have to search for the headers and commands yourself.

AP Shaco is the strongest control mage in the game when it comes to area control; being able to either lock down a quarter of the map or give vision across two-thirds of it grants you intel no other support is capable of providing. Additionally, he also provides hypercarry-like damage, giving him the ability to single-handedly turn team fights in his favor while also being one of the most versatile champs in the game. On AP Shaco, his passive primarily increases poke damage and can help with CSing as well as all-ins.
Ideally we want to try and throw [[Two-Shiv Poison]] when the Enemy Champ is facing away from us; besides that, we don't have to play around our passive.

[[Shaco]] goes untargetable & invisible for 0.5 sec he then teleports a small distance and spawns a clone of himself in his original location. He can then command the clone to walk to a desired position by either recasting/pressing R again or Alt+right-clicking; by using either on an enemy unit, he also makes his clone attack that target and stick onto them. This continues even after Shaco's death.
When the clone runs out after 18 sec, he will instantly deal damage to all surrounding enemy units and then spawn a "nest" of three mini [[Jack In The Box]]es, which will fear enemies for one second and will proceed to attack them for the next 8 seconds.

Because AP Shaco is a mid/late-game champ, and the laning phase is his weakest period throughout the game. The safest option you can always revert back to is to mitigate enemy plays and focus on securing objectives and scaling.
[color=#FFD700][size=4][b][i]So what does mitigating enemy plays look like?[/i][/b][/size][/color]
You are going to set up boxes around the wave wherever enemies might try to step up (see setups below). This is going to at least give you enough time to react to an enemy's play, as they will get CCed or will force them to back down. More often than not, this will also result in the opportunity to get some Poke/AAs off for your ADC.

This works great into poke and enchanter supports, but engage supports are able to force plays a lot harder, so it can also be beneficial to put some boxes down behind the wave where your ADC/you are standing to secure a safe way out of a possible engage by them. This also works great against champs that have to get on top of you or at least are going to try and do so (think Samira, Alistar, Nilah, and Tristana).
[list]
[*] [color=#FFD700]NOTE:[/color] Throughout this guide I will refer to this style of setting up boxes around the wave as "Playing Poke".[/list]

[/table]
So you now already know how you can protect your ADC, but let's also look into how we can initiate plays. Your best tool to actually force plays is Ult-bombing/tethering, but that is also one of the hardest things to pull off on Shaco, so let's start with some easier ways to engage.
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Hard Commit[/i][/b][/size][/color]
"Hard Commit" is the most basic way to engage with Shaco. You are going to Q forward behind your enemy, place a box behind them, and start attacking away.
I would only really recommend you do this in two cases. Either you are playing HOB, and then you can always go for this, and if they don't have much CC, you will most often end up at least trading one for one. Or the other case would be that you have an advantage over your enemies, or you have to quickly force a play.
This can be a health advantage, your jungler is ganking your lane, or you simply know you'll win that engage for some other reason, like them lacking burst.
I only really utilize "hard committing" as a follow-up on a successful double box when I'm paired up with an ADC that has great follow-up. And this brings us to our second fairly basic way to engage:
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Double Boxing[/i][/b][/size][/color]
Double boxing is simply a follow-up box on a previously placed box.
This is an incredibly safe way to initiate an all-in because you don't have to commit nearly as hard as with the previously shown strategy. If your ADC follows up quickly, they won't even need your help in most cases, as the enemy will be CCed for about 1–2.5 seconds, as well as nearly tanking the entire first box.
What I often end up doing is, if the CCed champ is the support, I'll try and pressure the ADC in an attempt to take focus off my ADC.
But this is highly dependent on factors such as the health levels of everyone and if we'd simply be able to quickly burst the CCed target and get out.

[b]Now we get to Ult-tethering, far harder than what we've learned so far but incredibly strong if we pull it off.[/b]
For Ult-bombing/-tethering, you are going to place your clone in a spot where the max range indicator (shown below) lines up with the location of the enemy who you are trying to engage on. Then use Deceive to pass over the indicator line while you are in stealth so the clone TPs to your location.

[/columns][/center][/col][/row][/responsive]
[color=#FFD700][size=4][b][i]We now have to get the clone to explode:[/i][/b][/size][/color]
One way of doing this is to proceed and fake a "hard commit" engage by placing a box behind them and letting the clone AA the enemy.
But there are some things you should pay attention to to sell the engagement properly. If we didn't line it up properly, you will spawn the clone too far away from the enemy, which might give away that that isn't you, or if the clone hesitates too long to AA, that is going to have the same effect.
We could also time it so that the clone runs out exactly when it arrives or only seconds later. Again, lining it up properly is going to be even more important here. You can also time the clone's arrival to where it has 2–3 seconds left, which will give you enough time to let it walk on them to get the fear off; this makes the Ult-tether slightly easier.

[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Overview[/i][/b][/size][/color]
Now we get to the part of the game where Shaco truly starts to shine and becomes the oppressive control mage that we love. So there are two main points we want to focus on: these are objective setups and split pushing/setting up for your team's push.
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Setting up for objectives[/i][/b][/size][/color]
As long as your team is going to try and contest an objective, it always takes priority. When setting up objectives, your goal is to hinder the enemy from reaching them, or at least poke them out so they are at a disadvantage when trying to contest them. Additionally, you just provide a lot of info to your team. You should take about 1.5–2 min to set up before the objective spawns to have enough time to provide extensive coverage with your setup.
I've highlighted basic box placements in red for when you've had enough time and quick setup options in green for when you didn't; prioritize those with a pink center.

[/col][/row]
[/responsive]
I usually position myself on the other side of the objective pit or in the enemy jungle when I have a proper setup, so I can go for a double-boxes or clone plays . Also, I maximize my damage that way, ensuring they lose as much health as possible on their way to the objective.
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Fallback zones[/i][/b][/size][/color]
When there are no such things as objectives that take priority, we can always default to setting up for your or a teammate's push. Doing this either gives them more than enough time to get to safety or sets up a favorable fight for them.
Setting up in enemy jungle is pretty straightforward. You want to provide vision of the jungle adjacent to the lane that's being pushed out as well as place boxes throughout the choke points of said jungle. Also, choke points where multiple enemies might pass through or are highly likely to have enemies pass through are great spots to stack a few boxes. Here are common places I set up my boxes in:

[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Overview[/i][/b][/size][/color]
Just like with everything we've talked about so far, you can also play/set up for team fights offensively or defensively, and which is more beneficial is dependent on your situation, but you can never go wrong with playing defensively.
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Defensive[/i][/b][/size][/color]
When playing defensively, you should focus on protecting your carries by setting up around the space your team is currently holding. It is especially important to protect your carries from potential flanks and to ensure they have a safe way to retreat from the fight.
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Offensive[/i][/b][/size][/color]
When playing offensively, you can go for flanks, cut off or delay isolated targets, or split up the enemy team by baiting some members of their team and then cutting them off from the rest. You should only do plays like this if you know they can't punish you too hard, you have a safe escape, or your team doesn't rely on your help in the first place.
[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Tips for team fighting[/i][/b][/size][/color]
When playing defensively, stacking boxes is a great idea, as 1-2 boxes usually won't offer much protection from engaging enemies. This is especially the case in confined spaces and choke points, where stacking boxes is always something you should consider.
When placing boxes during a fight, it is always good to place them with some distance from where the fight is currently taking place, as otherwise they might get destroyed before arming.

[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]What ADCs are good with Shaco?[/i][/b][/size][/color]
Generally you can say that self-sufficient / "safe" ADCs are a perfect match; these are ADCs that have self-[[peel]], long [[range]], or high [[mobility]]. This is due to Shaco lacking direct-[[CC]] and therefore not being able to protect his ADC consistently.

[color=#FFD700][size=6][b][i]Engage Supports[/i][/b][/size][/color]
Engage supports are the most threatening class for us:
Typically they'll play aggressively, as their goal is to obtain an early lead (most of the time—ADC dependent). And their kits are well equipped to achieve that goal; due to this, we should avoid early fights, as we usually won't be able to win those. Your main priority is not to die and scale (playing a passive lane).
If you need to force an early fight: Stacking boxes and baiting them is often your best option to do so. After initiating the fight, retreat or send your clone in. If you stay close, they'll usually be able to turn the fight.

Most engaged supports are tanky and have lots of CC = traditional tanks. You won't deal much damage against them; you can set up like you would to "play poke" to allow your ADC to get a few AAs or abilities off while the enemy support is CCed, but your boxes simply aren't enough to move their health bar meaningfully, nor is any other of your abilities.

Try and cover the spots they will try and hook you from with boxes; this is often the middle lane-bush and a box placed bordering the wave on the top side of the wave. Your goal is to not let them enter the space that gives them a free "line of sight" (no minions in the way) to hook you from.
Also, box-blocking can be very effective here if you predict them to hook you, because they have an opening to do so, for example, you can just place the box preemptively and hide behind it (for 2 sec), or have it block off the hook from your escape path. Simply placing it reactively as you usually would obviously also works.

These are typically fairly squishy, trading their sustain for damage. Against these champs you actually deal substantial damage, and baiting them into 2-3 boxes will usually result in a kill. But stacking boxes isn't your only choice for aggressive playstyles: setting up for poke (setting up boxes around the wave that they are likely to walk into—our default setup around the wave) is also a great way to approach this matchup: they are less likely to engage if at low(er) HP, and this perfectly sets up an easy engage at a later time.
But playing safe is, of course, also an option.

Intermediate matchup: not because the enchanter themselves is the threat, but if they're paired with an ADC that can run you down like [[Vayne]], [[Draven]], or [[Lucian]].
Also, the enchanter's potential in shields and heals is usually higher than what you could put out as damage in a fight, therefore making aggressive plays a risky undertaking. If you're able to avoide them in lane (playing passivly), do so and try to gain a lead outside of the lane; the more players involved in a fight, the more damage you'll deal and the less damage the enchanter can mitigate through their shields and heals:
Proportional to player count: they can mitigate 80% of my damage in a 1v1, in a 2v2: 40%, and in a 3v3: 27%.
NOTE: These are random, made-up percentages to establish my argument, not measured data.
If you absolutely need to engage, make sure you have a chance at stalling the fight or retreating, so less committed engage-techniques are your best choice; double boxing / stacked boxes / (Ult-tethering - already a bit too committed depending on the comp).
Take a look at their ADC: If they're a hyperscaler or similar, they'll likely just sit back and scale. If it's a [[draven]] or anything with high aggression potential, like I mentioned earlier, they will likely try to play for an early lead. Just that in this case, usually the ADC will initiate the fight, not the support. But this isn't always the case; some enchanters have offensive-CC and can also initiate; [[karma]] for example.
[color=#FFD700][size=4][b][i]Anti-heal - [Enchanters][/i][/b][/size][/color]
[[Oblivion Orb]] Often recommended, but I don't: The value just isn't there; you spend 800 gold on a component you can't fit into your build later due to its subpar stats/passive (when built out to [[Morellonomicon]]).
And your ADC can build [[Mortal Reminder]]—essentially no difference to [[Lord Dominik's Regards]], which nearly every ADC builds—write in chat that they should build it, at the start of the game. That then covers the legitimate need for anti-heal in late-game. And if you see a need for anti-heal in early-game, you can just take ignite.

Fairly easy matchups: Our usual poke setup is your go-to here to avoid them stepping up from behind the wave and casting their spells (some poke supports like Brand can cast through waves). If you want to engage, pick a less committed technique, like Ult-tethering or double boxing. After initiating the fight, take distance and wait out their CC and damage spells.
Afterwards, you may be able to straight up run at them (matchup knowledge required):
some champs like Brand deal lots of damage and have short cooldowns, giving them the ability to turn fights. The classic case is Lux; if she misses her spells, you can run her down due to her long CDs. But, if you get hit, you're likely dead.
If you cannot, simply hold your distance and try to assist with whatever you have: Summs, E, etc.
They will usually try and poke you out until you're low enough to finish off or also just try and scale.

[center][color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]What if I've fallen behind during the laning-phase?[/i][/b][/size][/color][/center]
[b]Look if you can make a quick push for a T1/2. Often a minimal setup in the adjacent jungle of vision and boxes is enough to allow for a fast push. The 675 gold you receive from a tower kill should be enough to get you back into the game. Generally, sitting on the sidelines is your emergency solution to falling behind, not being able to play with your team due to their incompetence, etc. You are impossible to get rid of if you have sufficient vision and boxes in the choke points of the jungle adjacent to said lane.
This is a reliable strat to get lots of gold and be useful if your team Is too unreliable to fight with. Of course, your main goal is to take towers. Therefore, a Nashor's second is strongly recommended. Objectives, etc., still take priority just for when you have nothing else to do.(Or when your team can't contest the objective anyways).[/b]
[center][color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]One subject I haven't touched on yet that is very important to Shaco is body language.[/i][/b][/size][/color][/center]
[b]You are often perceived to be a much bigger threat than you actually are, so aggressive posturing is often very effective in making up for your lack of direct CC when your ally is being engaged on, for example. What this looks like in practice: running at the enemy using summoners and throwing your E. These seem minor, and they are; depending on your Elo/enemy, they might not respond to this, but often times you are able buy your ally some time this way.[/b]
[center][color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]How to deal with bully lanes?[/i][/b][/size][/color][/center]
[b]One thing you can attempt to help with being bullied under the tower is to walk up from the river and do the same dance we just discussed, just more defensively. You also want to be picky with your timing: Often they'll think your jungler is right behind you and therefore move back, but once they realize you're alone, they might move back up again. You need to time this right so your ADC is able to get as much farm as possible through the window you've created. Vision is also very important here—make sure that they don't have a vision of the river.[/b]

[b]For one AP, of course, but also tons of CDR; this is the backbone of our build, as we need to be able to place many boxes quickly to set up properly and push lanes fast. Then we also have some early mana issues. Plus, we're on a support budget, so gold efficiency is very important to us.[/b][/size]

Comet remains the first choice of keystones due to its synergy with Shaco's various playstyles, providing an excellent tool for both poke damage and longer fights.
Comet consistently deals between 8-12% of our total damage, more than any other keystone or rune.
There really isn't a game you'll encounter where Comet isn't a perfectly viable pick, even though you can achieve better results in some games with, for example, a more snowball-focused setup like H.O.B., this usually comes with a significant risk of failiure. Due to this, I would always recommend you default to comet.

Great with 1-2 combat summoners and synergizes nicely with HOB. Doesn't fall off too hard either. If you need to kite melee champs a lot or can make use of the mobility, it's a good pick. But overall rarely useful and gets outvalued.

At 20 min you gain 24 AP (~ 700 gold), at 30 min, 48 AP (~ 1400 gold) and at 40 min, 80 AP (~2250 gold). If the game continues until all players are full-built, you effectively gain the AP equivalent of a seventh item, thus expanding your item cap beyond that of your opponents.
We are a late-game champ on a support budget; the longer the game goes, the more that budget deficit starts to affect us. Gathering Storm helps close this gap. And the AP we gain is simply absurd; you really do feel it once Gathering Storm starts to go into effect.[/col][/row][/responsive]

Like I just said, we're a late-game champ; we lack damage early, and even with scorch, we simply don't have enough damage to get kills through a poke playstyle. Therefore, it's essentially useless. On top of that, it also pales in comparison to Gathering Storm.
But to be fair, some people genuinely like playing scorch on shaco support, and even though I can't get behind why, you might; experimenting with it might be a good idea to simply see for yourself which you prefer.

a decent option for those who like to roam a lot. But if you aren't sitting in the enemy jungle throughout the early game, this rune isn't worth it over the other options. This is a legitimate strategy, though, and works well for some. If you are having success finishing the game consistently before or close to 30 min (After 30 min, Gathering Storm is simply too powerful to be passed upon) due to building an early lead through such a playstyle, WaterWalking can actually be the better choice.

[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Hail of Blades[/i][/b][/size][/color]
Hail of Blades is a great choice if you want to play for an early lead, even on AP Shaco. But there are some conditions that need to be met for you to succeed with Hall of Blades:[list]
[*] Your team needs to have the necessary follow-up damage in the early-game.
[*] Your team has to actually play with you.
[*] You need to build an early lead—your enemy's comp needs to allow for this; engage supports, assassins, etc. can make this impossible.[/list]
All these conditions make HOB a risky pick over our safe options like Comet, though the return if HOB works out is great; the risk of not being able to play around HOB and then not having the runes of the Sorcery-tree in late-game makes it not worth it in my eyes.
NOTE: Please be aware that I took an objective approach here: I still play HOB even in ranked, but objectively it just doesn't consistently achieve the same results as Comet. And even though in theory you could get around this by simply picking HOB as a situational keystone into comps, you know it will be able to succeed against. There are simply too many variables, like your team, that will hinder you from being able to consistently predict whether HOB is actually the better pick over our other options.

Dark Harvest is viable, but you get less damage out of it than you get out of Comet, and it often leads to unwanted kill-stealing (KS) on your part; after all, you're the support and don't have a passive like Pyke to compensate your carries for KSing.
[i](I generally disagree with the concept of KSing in LoL, but in this case it's a real downside, but you shouldn't care about KSing outside of this)[/i]
It just gets outvalued—that's the real problem.
That said, if you do decide you'd like to run it, go with the usual precision secondaries—those are the best IMO. For me it's an occasional fun pick.

[color=#FFD700][size=5][b][i]Conqueror[/i][/b][/size][/color]
[size=4]Conqueror is neither viable nor a niche rune.[/size]
I still wanted to mention it, as I did do some experimentation on it a while back, and if it ever got buffed or reworked, it might become viable.
But already today, if you have it stacked and are able to maintain those, it should already match the damage output of Comet or actually be slightly better. Getting your stacks, though, and maintaining them is just way too unreliable, which is the one big problem with Conqueror currently.
So keep an eye on it or give it a shot as a fun build if you want – it's best in long fights with bruisers and tanks, specifically in the early and mid-game.
If you'd want me to expand on where the unique strength of Conqueror lies, I'd be happy to do so; just leave a comment about it.
But in short: Conqueror gives flat adaptive force and lots of it already pretty early; because of this, it nearly doubles your AP until your first item (afterwards, it still increases in AF but falls off by %); and because of the flat AP increase, the damage increase you gain from it is only limited by your abilities. The more abilities you deal damage with, the more value you gain from Conqueror. There are also some unique quirks with it; for example, if an enemy triggers your box and remains inside it through the first 2/3 of its uptime and then stays or re-enters within the last third, you gain another stack from it. Ignite also grants a stack, and Shaco's ult was also quite unique in how it generates stacks – I don't fully remember, though; it's been a while since I experimented with it.

Pretty good option overall, but:
It just isn't needed due to us buying the sapphire crystal early. If you were to play Poke a lot, it might be worth considering, but your damage isn't high enough to where I see that ever being a legitimate strategy.
But it is my go-to the first row of the precision tree.[/col][/row][/responsive]

[color=#FFFFFF]Bit of an unusual pick, but Shaco is an unusual support. We pick Teleport for multiple reasons:[/color][list]
[*] [color=#FFFFFF]Fear the Jester's TP tech—essentially an early TP back to lane, allowing for a quick early back to grab the Sapphire Crystal to deal with our mana issues. But take a look at their guide as well; credit for this strategy goes to them.[/color]
[*] [color=#FFFFFF]We also spend lots of time in the sidelanes in late-game; therefore, we can make great use of it for quick rotations and being at objectives in time without wasting too much time wandering the map.[/color]
[*] [color=#FFFFFF]TP is also an excellent escape tool. Especially in combination with our Q, as its stealth is able to conceal TP's entire windup.[/color][/list]
[color=#FFFFFF]TP is the strongest Summoner spell we can pick. I would always recommend you default to it if you don't have a more pressing need or play a niche build.[/color]

[*] Your default answer to a burst-heavy comp or assassins.
[*] But it can also be a strong tool if you're in an unfavourable matchup in lane, especially into engage supports or mages.
[*] Furthermore, it also makes up for Shaco's lack of direct CC (to some extent), letting you create some time for an ally to escape or to hinder an enemy from escaping your carrie(s). [/list]

When you face assassins so powerful they don't even show themselves before engaging, flash is often your best shot at surviving; think Viego, Talon, Zed.

If you found this guide helpful, I'd appreciate you leaving an upvote and +rep. Seeing that you guys like the guides really keeps me motivated to keep on expanding and improving my guides, and I deeply appreciate every single one of you taking the time to have read the entire thing.
If you have questions or I didn't explain something thoroughly enough, you're welcome to leave a comment. I check in daily and am more than happy to help with any question you might have. Suggestions or wishes for the guide are also highly appreciated.
Like you know, this guide was mostly focused on conveying the basics of shaco support. If you'd like to take a look at what high-level Shaco support gameplay looks like, check out Fear The Jester's Guide. We're collaborating on our guides, which is why I keep referring to his strategies, etc., throughout this guide. His guide has helped me out quite a bit, and I'm sure it will have the same effect for you.

This also isn't my only guide; I recently wrote a Camille Support Build guide. For now it's just the build and the reasoning behind it. I put it on ice until I finished my work here, but I might come back to it in the future if there's demand to expand it to a full guide. It's a 5-minute read, and you clearly like exotic supports, so it might be worth checking out. There's also a brief insight into how this guide came along and my lol journey over there, which will "soon" also be available on my profile as a more detailed version.

If you're interested in writing your own guide or want to see how a guide is coded, I’ve created a template guide. This includes the entire Shaco support guide in code form, along with the templates I used for this guide. But, be aware that the templates haven't been updated with my latest versions, so you'll need to extract them from my guide in code form.

When I check in with guides, I am often unsure if there were any changes done in the latest update. Because of that, I have decided to make it easier for you all to quickly tell what I have done to the guide.
You will now find a second bracket - [ [color=#844DFA]P-[/color] [color=#CC9C00]C++[/color] ] behind the patch - [25.20], which will tell you if there were any relevant changes in the latest patch or changes/additions made to the guide.

[*] [b]My guide has had two major content overhauls since its release in April 2025, and here it is now: Version 4. I added a much more comprehensive [goto=Matchups]matchup[/goto] section, in-depth coverage of summoner spells and runes, and a new tips and tricks section. That nearly doubled the guide's length, from 55k to 109k characters — 36k of that is actual text (6.5k words), so roughly a 30-minute read.
The new content is everything from the Matchups section onward.
I'll be posting further updates in the comment section as I go.
