Excellent guide! I watched the video all the way through and loved it. I main Varus when I'm ADC, but this build is a little different from my usual so I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out. Keep up the great work!
Like you said in the video, maxing Q first really is awesome. I play with a very similar style to what you did in the video... Although I'm unfortunately not as good at the finer mechanics of it. (Thus me at Silver III and you at AWESOME I) Hopefully it's true that practice makes perfect!
Just out of curiosity, how did you add that cool border on your video? I'm working on making a video guide for my Sona build, and I really like how your video has a nice border around everything and the webcam overlay.

Great guide! I've won every game I've played with it. Maxing the E first is a smart idea, works really great. Great for poking them away, then getting a couple of auto attacks in.

what about Spirit Visage for better sustaining?

Great build - Like the item progression a lot. I've had great success with q maxed out first however, as it allows you to poke like a beast. Try it out if you haven't already and see how you like it.

Really helpful guide! I had previously been building Runaan's Hurricane which did allow him to clear minions waves and monsters really fast, as well as apply his W quickly, but the Life Steal and damage on this build are far superior for fighting other champions. Also, now I know to get E first and I remember to apply Blight stacks before hitting with E or Q. Varus has quickly turned into my favorite champion. Now if only I can get two kills with one snipe!!! XD

Really really nice guide, well written and videos also help to improve your gameplay, varus is one of the best adc actually...i think you are a great sniper also in real life :) very good job :-)

Hey Casey! Great guide man! I am actually using this build guide and it is phenomenal! just went 21/4 with it actually and I'm only a 23. So I noticed that the Bloodthirster is in the core items, however it isn't in the purchase order. I've kinda tweaked that purchase order by purchasing the Bloodthirster after the B.F. Sword. From there I purchase a second B.F. Sword and then just continue in the order. Just thought I'd ask where you put the Bloodthirster in you order! Thanks again man!
