Overview. This will be a guide on how to play vayne effectively as a ranged
I like the game with a dorans blade as it is an amazing early game item for vayne(it has att dmg, lifesteal, and health). Most people i have seen go mid with vayne, i however prefer to go to a side lane if possible as its very easy to get yourself and another champion fed by dual laning due to vaynes early game burst and harass. I Have had success laning with other champions that have a stun/slow since you can use your condemn to knock people back towards your teamate who can then use their cc to capitalize on the now overextended enemy. I generally start with tumble as my first skill and then move in to harass by shooting once then tumbling and shooting again to get that wonderful burst damage. I take condemn at level 2 both to help gank and to help out in case my teammate makes a mistake( condemn is great for saving lives as well as taking them).
Personally my mid-game starts as soon as i have sheen and my tier 1 boots, at this point i start harassing more and going for ganks in lanes that need help/have low hp enemy's, Dont forget that with flash and tumble you can tower dive pretty well, one of my favorite tactics is to pop my ulti and tumble in stealthd followed by a condemn and another tumble if needed to finish someone off. once again remember that condemn is great for saving your *** and your friends as well, not just for destroying people.
