Intro

Alright everybody welcome to my Veigar build. Veigar is one of my favorite character's to play. The reason for that is that he will destroy some of the strongest champions in about 2 seconds if built and played right. I'm trying to keep the build short and sweet so let's get down to it.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
Most powerful burst damage in game
Stun makes a great escape when combined with flash
Can destroy a wave of minions in a few seconds
Cons:
Relatively squishy
Could be better for first blood
Using spells on minions early game can take a lot of your mana away

Runes

I'm not really a person that pays much of any attention to runes, but if you are one of the people that are willing to spend large amounts of IP to get a tiny difference om the stats of 2 or 3 champions, then i would go with the ones i have shown above because they give a good balance between cdr (which is something it think is very needed for Veigar in team fights) and AP

Masteries

The masteries i have above are used by a lot of casters. they offer a lot of mana regen some penetration and some cdr. very useful for veigar considering all his damage comes from casting.

Items

Okay, so for items you are going to start off with a Doran's Ring because its going to help you with health and mana regen which are great at helping Veigar lane early game. It also gives you a bit of AP which is gonna help you harass and probably result in a early kill by putting repeated burst damage on the enemy.

Now that you have built up some gold you are going to start working on your sorcerer's boots right away because it is important that you are able to keep a distance from your enemies and control them with your stun in order to use Veigar's bad *** range to your advantage.

Next, you are going to start working on ((Deathfire Grasp)). This item is SUPER important. This item offers veigar AP, mana regen, cdr, and a *****in' active that will help break down any tanks you are having trouble taking down, but remember you HAVE to use that active as it will be like adding another ability on to your nuke.

Now, that you should be able to take out over half of your enemies health with a single burst of your abilities you should start grabbing a Lich Blade which is gonna add a 5th part to your nuke. The passive of the Lich Blade adds magic damage equal to your AP. It also offers 80 AP, 350 mana, 30% magic resist, and 7% Movement Speed increase which is gonna help you control your enemies.

Rabadon's Deathcap This is going to almost if not double your AP. in other words. you're going to rape them now. (if you're doing okay)

By now they should be getting sick of getting hit so hard by Veigar's spells and some of them might start stacking some magic resist. This mean's you should get abyssal scepter andVoid Staff. These should do a decent job of penetrating their armor and help you keep you on top of the game.
