Remember that vlad is a solo char ,and u must be fed at early level. Try tranfushion only at the enemy at early lvl cause your cooldown is high.After,when you have sanguine pool try to tranfushing the enemy and use your pool to protect yourself after draining health. Vlad is a high damager char so u can kill very quick the enemy.

Go to an enemy only when u have ready your ulty.The sequence of abilities is:1.ulty,2.transfushion3.tides of blood.4.sanguine pool and ignite.After this combination enemy will die ,or else after 5 second,when your ulty deal it's damage.

Vlad with this build can escape very easy(1.ghost,2.sanguine pool).You must also remember that vlad uses health for each ability,so tides of blood will be deadly for early lvl(that's why i learn tides of blood after 10 lvl).You must also know that vlad-low healthed is being appealed by the enemies.If you have your ult and pool ready and u have lot's of ap don't be afraid.If you have only your pool ready just drain health and leave.If u have low health and have enemy minions near go with your pool and heal yourself ;).

Vlad is also good farmer.U can use tides of blood and sanguine pool to kill lot's of minions at once.If u like doing lots of farming, u can buy warmogs ,because it has stacks gaining additional health at killing minions

With spirit visage(15% healing done) and Will of ancient(25% spell vamp) you can drain large amount of health and you will don't have to go base.You will become almost unstoppable :P ;P
