You can vary your masteries but personally I like playing Vladimir as mix between health and ap.

These items mainly focous on health and ap because his passive is very good and converts ap to health and health to ap.

skill sequence

personally i prefer to use transfusion, tides of blood transfusion. You want to spam your e to stack up and your ult because it will give 15% bonous power to your skills.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
>Great team fighter
>Super beefy
>Great damage output
>Self-Sufficent, only has to go back for items
>Able to dodge 10+ spells with a well timed Sanguine Pool
>Able to dodge most forms of Crowd Control if played properly
>Can counter gank easily with Sanguine Pool
Cons:
>Targeted with CC often
>Often played poorly by people who don't understand how to utilize him
>Referred to as "one of the easiest champions in the game""
>Extremely volatile early game
