Introduction

Hello, This is my short guide on how to vlad. I have been playing Vladimir pretty much since he came out and tried many things with him, some worked some not. This is also my first guide so I'm not familiar with editing here yet, sorry.

Masteries

From my experience I feel a lot more confident playing with defense tree. Utiliy doesnt offer much to vlad but you can always do your own thing.

Items

The item build is pretty ordinary but that doesnt mean it isn't effective. The big difference you might notice is Moonflair spellblade. I think is is VERY useful item for Vlad. when ghost or flash on cd and you are trying to escape gank with pool or just running, this thing saved my *** plenty of times to be worth 1200 for 50ap and 25 tenacity.

Void Staff is mostly a must for vlad unless the opposition team has no MR, which is almost never.

As last item choosing between Zhonya's ring and Abyssal scepter should be depending on who you are facing. ring for strong AD champions and scepter against AP.

Skill Sequence

Now many of you think maxing out pool isnt wise, but talking from hundreds of games with vlad I can tell you, that extra damage from tides of blood is nothing as good as shorter cd on pool. Most of the time every second counts and if you play right your pool will save you every time and grant you plenty of kills.

Summoner Spells

Ghost and flash are just great for vlad, I used to play with ignite but its just nowhere close to flash. Flash can save you and let you finish off opponents and can be used in good combination with hemoplague(ulti)
