I prefer to take 2 Health Potions in case of earky gang. I also buy a sight ward to use it when killing blue (on the river) or after killing dragon to see if enemy jungler wants to kil it.

Leaving 1 champion for 2v1 lane isn't a bad thing. It's a good thing. It makes your team have two sololanes, and that means two overleveled people. It's a big bonus to a real team (that means e.g. rankeds or premades), but can be bad for random instalock teams in normal games.

Also, I personally prefer Blood Scent at level 4.
