I've messed with talon a bit and I found that starting with the philosopher stone may seem odd but has helped immensely. It allows me to stay in longer because even though I can harass a lot with his rake, I find myself losing health from the enemy harassing that I can't make up with the dorans blade. This also solves his mana problem so you rarely ever run out when you need to jump on an easy target. I'm still testing him out and I'm not sure what is the best but this is the build I've been following that has worked for me and its not for you its understandable, but if anything you should still give it a try just to get a feel and let me know any suggestions.
