I was a little disappointet by those runes because this (and Nasus) were the only good combinations I could find yet.
For me they do work wonders in this build like no other rune combination. Especially when facing ranged champs bot like Ezreal.
They are good in the early but get even better when you grow stronger.

Honestly, I thought the same about the revive only 3 weeks ago but it proved itself real good to me. Ofc everyone can pick whatever summoner spell they want it's only a recommendation.
