Introduction

Hello, and welcome to my first guide ever, I will try to guide you into playing Wukong the way I do - which is in an effective, tough way that hits hard - much like Jarvan, but far from the same build and playstyle. I hope you will enjoy this build. And yes, I call him a barfighter, because he is so awesome to engage with.

Runes

I chose this setup, because Wukong does not have all that much of attackspeed, so combining attackspeed-quints with health-regen seals will help you stay in lane for quite a bit of time. The magic resist call itself, and the armorpenetration has a good synergy with your Q.

Masteries

For masteries, I go with an untypical setup: 21-8-1, taking Ghost-mastery from utility, armor & magic-resist masteries, and 2 points in dodge-mastery from Defense.

In Offense, I take 3 Deadliness, 1 exhaust, 4 sorcery, 3 alacrity, 3 sunder, 3 brute Force, 3 lethality and finally 1 havoc.

Items

I open up with a Doran blade, simply because it gives me a good start ahead, and a bette early-game. I then advance to build my shoes, followed by a phage and a brutalizer. After this, you are gonna be pretty heavy on both health and damage-output, and you should have good survivability throughout the rest of the game.

Skill Sequence

The reason I do this sequence, is because I feel, that W is purely for escaping and harassing, and with the way I play my Wukong, I am very passive, and rarely need to make an escape. However, if you feel you are being pushed far back in lane, you can always skip 1 or 2 Q's and take them in W instead.

Summoner Spells

As for summonerspells, I prefer Flash and Ghost. I take flash for the versatility of the spell, as you can both chase, escape and engage with it. I prefer ghost, because our little monkey is quite slow, and for it's escaping- and chasing utilities, which are quite awesome. However, if you yourself prefer something different, like Cleanse, Ignite, Exhaust and Teleport, you can also take these. They are quite nice, but they affect the way you play throughout the game.

Conclusion?

Well, when all comes to all, this is just a build, and a guide provided by a guy who plays MonkeyKing waaaay to much - and everything depends on whether your team can help your, and vice versa. If you have a bad team with you, you are gonna suck, because this build is made for a premade 5V5. I hope you will try this build, and please, do comment with criticism - Don't flame, because this is my first ever guide/build. Thank you for watching/reading this.
