Runes

Full out AD runes. Why you ask, well because the first skill you take is the ghoul with life steal. This will keep you going until your first trip back to base. 2/4 skills are AD based too, plus ghouls and your ult do damage based off of your AD.

There doesn't seem to be the AD seal runes that I use, but they are the seals of strength. Use those.

Masteries

Mastery is set for dealing out more AD all around, the 6 extra points spent on a bit of armour and damage reduction vs minions, and 1 point in time spent dead just because. That point can go any where I suppose, but a few seconds can help.

Items

The items are bought in pretty much the same order all the time, the only thing that would change is when to get your berserkers, before or after you start your trinity, really depends on who you are fighting. If you need the extra speed, definitely go for the boots.

I like to buy mana potions up until the point that I have my manamune, or if the jungler gives you the blue all the time, less are needed. But in total I might buy 10 in the early part of the game. Just buy a few each trip back until your mana is sufficiently high.

Manamune - the way I play Yorick, well, I spam ghouls non stop, so I like to get the blue a few times early in the game to maintain that spam. Manamune late game adds to the damage and gives the mana you need to keep harassing hard.

Bersker's Greaves - Yorick is in the end, a melee champ, and going for an AD build, why wouldn't you want to attack a bit faster.

Trinity Force - Yorick's Q + Trinity = ouchie, not just to champions and minions either, but works great on turrets and inhibitors, which makes backdooring so easy.

Maw Of Malmortius - Just something I like to use, gives damage, a bit of extra protection, more damage when your hp is low.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Now in most games, I don't usually get this. Why? Because games sometimes are done by the time I get the first few items of it. Gives plenty of needed late game hp, some AP to help deal a bit more damage with your W, and now your skills slow people.

Guinsoo's Rageblade - AD/AP and more attack speed. Gives more attack speed and AP the more you attack and spam ghouls, it's just all around useful. I have yet to actually get this though, since once again, games don't seem to last long enough.

Summoner Spells

Promote - I love promote, and I don't care who *****es about it when they see it. Yorick can already push like a boss, so why not make it that much easier in the early goings. Late game too, you promote one lane while you and your team pushes another, it's a game winner and makes you good money.

Ignite - Why not flash or ghost right? Well, my motto is, at least with Yorick, go down fighting, come back to life and do a bit more damage. I get a lot of double kills because of Yoricks ultimate, even in 3v1's. Ignite has to be used before you die though, can't be used while in undead form.

Skill Sequence

Yoricks E is your bread and butter. Deals considerable damage early game, and keeps you full hp late game too. Maxing this out first is priority, except for level 6 when you get your ultimate, you should take this alternating with your W because both are ranged skills.

Getting Q at level 3 is essential though, 3 ghouls > 2 ghouls, plus it does a lot of damage even at skill level 1.

Yoricks ultimate might not seem overly impressive compared to many other ultimates, but it has a variety of uses. I mainly use it on myself though, but if you had a bad game, few kills and your carry is doing wonderful, use it on them in a team fight, just in case they die, then they can come back for 10sec and stomp on the enemies some more.

Yorick can easily solo turrets simply by using his ultimate and sending it in first. Make sure a creep wave is coming as well, so you can spam your ghouls so the turret attacks them first. And with a trinity and Q going, the turrets fall very fast.
