Hello and welcome to my second build, this one is focusing on Ap Katarina. Katarina was my first champion and im confident in my playing abilities with her. After experience playing her both AD, AP and hybrid i have come to the conclusion that focusing mainly on AP is the best way to build her.

Pros:
- Nice Damage
- Nice Mobility and Harrassing
- Great early game dominance
- Can totally tear an enemy team apart

Cons:
- Squishy
- Easily killed an shutdown if focused
- Late game is often hard to play.

Starting with a dorans blade i believe is the best choice becuase it will give you a nice boost to ur AD for early game aswell as as lifesteal and health for laning efficiently. By the time you've grabbed Sorcerers Greaves and your first revolver you should already be dominating your early game.The Hextech Gunblade is Katarina's main item beause it boost your Ulti and Q Spell damage by a huge amount. Rabadons Deathcap is a must for it's massive AP boost and the Rylais will provide you with much needed health and the slow effect combined with your ulti will allow your team to kill the opposition quickly. Late game is where your game starts to fail and you may find your self needing defensive items so the Banshees Veil and Guardian Angel will ensure you survive the duration of the fight and totally decimate your enemies.

Maxing Bouncing Blade first is the best farming and harrassing option and it now scales with Ap giving it a nice hefty damage boost aswell. Shunpo is next and 1 early on Killer Instincts to help you survive while in death Lotus.

Your job is easy. You wait for your tank of someone beefier to initiate and when your sure you won't be focused hit your W, Shunpo in and Death Lotus - Instant Multi Kill. Any suirvivors are easily cleaned up by your ignite, exhaust and shunpo combo.

Katarina is a great choice for players who are just starting out and are looking for some nice damage and a champ that will teach them all the neccessary skills for the game.
