Err...rank difference might be a bit too big here for me to help. I'd try the "lowelo" chatroom (not actually low elo players; that's just the name of the community based on this podcast) in the NA server to find practice partners. Generally chill people who are cool with teaching you stuff and maybe even forming a ranked team. Great for community 5v5 draft games that occasionally get shoutcasted as well.
