Who are the favourites to win? (only included 'serious' possibilities)

Personally feel that LGD will take the cup home, seeing how good they've been playing lately. I would prefer Fnatic or Invictus to take it. Also, SKT and EDG are strong contenders. EDG all depends on if they can keep their form, seeing how IG nearly took the #2 seed.

i feel like either Koo or SKT will win, unless EDG regains their form. Koo have grown up by leaps and bounds throughout the season back to where they were (if not better) last season.

My four favorites to win this are SKT, EDG, LGD and Koo Tigers. My dark horse pick is Cloud 9. Otherwise, every other team is screwed and our Korean/Chinese overlords are gonna show us how it's done and EU is irrelevant. Especially FNC.

Nice bait.

Realistically, both regions (NA/EU) are probably going to end up being irrelevant, it would just be nice for one of the teams to cause an upset (with FNC and CLG - as #1 seeds - arguably being the main contenders to do so).

That is true, but bait is important. Now that I mean anything hurtful by it, just some fun.

Well, everything got changed to it cores, so nobody can tell who will win it. The team that reacts best to surprises and gets the best strategy will win. In other words, TSM has no chance.

Who knows, in the end a wildcard region wins and turns NA into a wildcard region.

I'm gonna call it now, at least one EU/NA team will make semi's and at least one of the #2 or #3 of Korea will not make it out of groups because of an EU/NA team.

Call me an EU fanboy for it, but I really believe that the gap between the different regions is smaller than it has ever been since Season Two. We've already seen that Fnatic can take SKT to 5 games, that the whole NA scene has improved massively over the past year and that the gap between #1 - #2/3 in Korea is absolutely massive.

I meant it more in the sense that I don't think any of the teams have a realistic shot at winning, not that I think they'll all be eliminated from groups. Wouldn't be surprised if a team like Fnatic made it to the semis.

Well I actually think Fnatic has a realistic shot (albeit small) at winning :^)
