I see it alot but haven't done it too many times myself. Has anyone tested it a lot? What's good and what's bad about it? When to do it? etc.

I come back after 10 days of not playing and bam junglers buy laning items wtf guys give me a break

tl;dr get it if you plan to gank constantly before your first back, otherwise Hunter's Machete is better.

That's about it. You're just delaying your machete for better starting game ganks.

You can also invade very effectively after taking only redbuff. If the enemy jungler has machete + blue and you have red + dorans, its pretty much fb for you.

Did some experimenting, it works well on xin as well. It is possible on j4 but not optimal.
