WOGL.org will be hosting another League of Legends draft Sunday, July 11th @ 7pm EST

We are planning on running a substantial prize event in the very near future so we want to gauge the amount of 5v5 teams out there, test the rule set, as well as hopefully facilitate the formation of new teams.

We had 8 teams on vent last draft, with multiple Livestream broadcasts and everyone had a lot of fun, win or lose.

This is a great opportunity to meet new players, learn new strategies, and is always a lot of fun for everyone involved.

What is a draft and how does it work?

Teams/individuals come on vent and are placed into the draft lobby. Captains are then chosen by request or randomly and they pick 4 players in round robin order and a tournament commences. Captains are encouraged to pick players not in their guild/clan and play with strangers however this is not mandatory.

What are the rules?

1. Players must be registered on WOGL.org in order to participate
2. Players must put their in-game level in their comment.
3. It is mandatory for team leaders to read the rules prior to match play and make sure all of their players abide by the rules.
4. Breaking any rule may result in a forfeit of a match, or ban from WOGL

5v5 Match Settings:
1. Summoners Rift
2. Summer
3. 5v5

5v5 Match Format:
1. Each team is entitled 3 champion bans with the higher # team selecting first.
2. The champion bans are to be done in a 1-2-2-1 format.
3. If a champion is banned, neither team can select to play that champion.
4. Champion selection is then to commence in a 1-2-2-2-2-1 format with the lower # team selecting first.
5. If a champion is selected, the opposing team cannot select that champion.
5. Runes/Masteries may be changed after the champion bans and selections.
6. The higher # team is to select blue side/purple side of the map.

In Game Etiquette:
Abuse of the Global Chat in matches, insulting other players or staff can result in the loss of a match, suspension or ban subject to severity of offense and repeated offense.

Rules are subject to change, adjustment, and updates at anytime. Rules shall not be re-distributed and/or copied in any form without written permission from WOGL.LLC
