....Flat AD...He has a true damage ultimate...My play style may be different, when I play him I build a little damage mostly durability and I just sit there spamming Q waiting for people to get low. No need for ArP if you can let your passive and your Q as well as the %damage steroid do their job.

I've found more success dominating top lane as Darius using flat AD runes. One point in E at level 2/3/4 is enough armor penetration. Then when you get to level 6, you do even more true damage. Even at level 1, if you get Q it'll hurt like a ***** if you use flat AD runes.
