Darius restores 13−39% missing health per enemy champion and large jungle monster hit with the edge. The handle will not heal him nor apply a Hemorrhage stack.

Assuming he hits 3 enemies with the blade at level 18, under the same conditions, Veteran Scars heals 838, to Runic Armor's 888. That's a difference of 50 health that only gets bigger with items, and I think everyone with over 200 wins has escaped from death with less than 50 health at some point.
So, my question is, does Runic Armor heal for more than Veteran Scars in an actual game? (I've seen people control champions from different teams at the same time, and I assume this would give the most definite result. I do not have the means.) Also, if Runic Armor does not override the maximum 36% missing health cap, does it affect hitting only 2 or 1 enemy champions, instead? Rarely does an average player actually hit 3 free thinking enemy champs with the outer circle of the ability, anyway, so it's still a valid question. So, can anyone test this under such conditions?
