I'm aware there was a recent thread on the versatility of champions (champs that can be played with moderate success in multiple lanes) but what about those champions that just find their ways into certain positions in the meta? Basically Nautilus. I apologize already, but I adore Nautilus and I enjoyed him as a support for the same reason I enjoy the new Sion in support; just an abominable amount of CC. But with some of the more recent Nautilus buffs (I'm still surprised it happened) the good ol' Anchorman has found his way as a top-tier support. I'm happy for him, and I feel I might enjoy him more in the jungle still (haven't gotten to play much, so just talking about pre-riptide buff) as opposed to being a support. I remember earlier this season people rambled on about how much they loved support Vel'koz. Where is he now? Nowehere, goodbye from the meta you eyeball'd ****. And then I remembered how Cho'gath has gotten a recent placement in mid lane, which I think is radical. I'm a huge fan of versatile tanks and we just named three so that should give you a bit of knowledge as to my biases. And Urgot as well seems to have placed high in the middle lane.

What do you guys think about all these champions that are moving out to find new jobs/homes in other areas? Which champions do you feel need a lane swap? Thanks for reading <3

You really can't talk about lane swaps without mentioning Gragas. Gragas has become a contested pick in at least every single lane within his lifetime. He was the most contested mid laner pre-rework, the rework then made him played as a support because people thought that was really good, then people realised he's an absolutely baller top laner, and now he's potentially one of the most contested junglers with the Cinderhulk meta.

I believe somewhere in the depths of the Mesolithic era he was a contested bot/top lane pick because meta was kill back then.
