When Diana was released she was OP, so they nerfed her several times. On release she could jungle but it was never spectacular solid tier 2-3 at her best. The most recent nerf to her shield made her jungle even weaker so now there is very little point to play her. If you want to play an AP carry style jungler try Eve or Elise.

I remember OGN (spring or summer in 2012) when Diana was just released. Froggen picked diana against Frost without having played her once. He stomped literally everything.
But ya, she is a mid lane champion and not a jungler. Wouln't even consider her solo queue viable as jungler.
damn i actually remember havin fun with diana jungle... that 30 min game with 0/0/0 stats which we had won. Was basically just farming and didn't succeed in ganking, to get smth out of it XD

I think her jungle is still great; she merely lacks a pre-6 gap closer.

She used to be good, but there are much better options if you're looking for an AP jungler. She isn't played much mid since they nerfed her poke, and her 
Crescent Strike is easy to dodge.
That said, she's still fun to play, and she does fine in normals.

When Diana was released she was also introduced as a jungler-something I actually tried back then- but I haven't really seen that for a very long time now. Is it till viable but just not as strong as current meta? Is it something worth trying?
