getting a bloodthirster is not gonna help the proc

Either get it right after boots + 2 dblades or leave it out

Sheen is amazing for early/mid game damage. After that, you better be able to use all the Tri-Force stats, otherwise it's nearly useless.

buying sheen first just because its better early game than lategame is horrible logic. you buy it if you can afford the damage boost without getting raped. you buy phage otherwise. just like you do on jax, just like you do on irelia.

^ And even then, Phage has some very legitimate applications such as boosting gank buddy power for your jungler.
Over long extended trades early Sheen's damage boost isn't really THAT much higher than Phage's on a lot of champions, due to base AD being lower early than it is later :P
I don't generally build the Sheen portion of Triforce, I find move speed and HP/slow procs are pretty OP!

yeah triforce is good on him but not because he can proc sheen.
zeal gives him a minor AS buff sufficient because he already has an as steroid.
The phage allows him to kite and chase (which is absolutely required for both top and botlane)
