Not sure to call this qq or not, but I originally planned on spending my birthday at a bar with friends. Therefor, clearly, my neighbor's little girl also wants to celebrate my birthday, so I've to act as a babysitter, and am unable to go to a bar. Not how I planned my birthday to go.

That's how I feel during my summer break when everyone in Germany still has school. Also, the girl is like family, and is adorable so I can't really qq about it. At least I don't need to worry about drunk people. Hopefully I can get drunk alone, without a 6-year old asking what I'm doing while I'm drunk.

Just fight the 6 y/o. They'll understand. :D

Now, admittedly, that was all made up for because I got to spend the rest of it with GMD, who had made me a cake and got me a lovely gift (plus a hilarious card), but still.

On the point of trains, I remember that one class trip I had last year during autumn. It was great while it lasted, but man, too many things to qq about. 17 hours on a train to reach our destination. Not even going to mention the things we said or did while on the train. First evening there, half of us went up to the church with beer cans and some cigarettes and sat outside at around 12 degree. Teachers thought we did take a walk. Half were completely stoned as we went back, and since we were outside longer than we should we had to climb back inside through a window in the girl's room. One guy fell inside and had to be dragged away. Next evening we tried to get into a club, but got denied. It just got better from there. Next day we would take a train to the next destination. But, it was cancelled. So we were forced to take a bus, leave it, wait in the rain for another bus, and sit in it for 2 hours. Then when we reached our destination it rained, and my umbrella wasn't big enough to cover me and my suitcase. That sucked. The place we stayed at was weird. That evening 8 people went to some bar, and I went to bed early. Someone had to be reasonable, right? I wake up at 6.00 next morning, and one of my roommates had vomited over the entire room. It had even gotten onto my suitcase, the stuff I got lying around and my bed. Should have punched the guy in the gut, but I didn't. So, me and my other roommate let him stay in the bed, and let him have a stomach ache. One of our teachers found him, and he woke up, wondering if the food wasn't okay yesterday. The rest had headache, and our other teacher happily asked what was wrong, clearly knowing the answer. Then we had to buy stuff for the 19 hour trip home. Some thought about getting beer, but if the teachers found out they would be screwed. I settled for 6 liter Cola. Once it got late we started talking about weird stuff again, something which we rarely mention. Got home 9.00 in morning, and only got the rest day and one more day from school. School had to be *******s.
It was still great though, even if some the stuff I found out about my classmates are things I would prefer to forget. Or the memories of what some did while they were drunk. Like one of the girls deciding that sitting on my lap was a great idea while I was sitting on a bench with two guys on each side. And me managing to mix up the keys to our rooms, so it took us 5 minutes standing in the hallway figuring out which key belong to which room.
Not sure if that was a rant or something else. Just had to get that out after nearly a year. Also, I can't over how adorable my 6 y/o neighbor is. She ruined the entire evening I had planned, and now I'm trying to keep her still for more than 10 minutes so I can study for tomorrow. Still need to sneak out a few bottles of beer out of my stash without her finding it. Don't want her to try it for fun.
