But ya I'm not sure where you are going with this jeff, and how your math works. Generally, as baka said, you will gain ~12 and lose ~12, so you won't have a net loss or gain from a win/loss. Only when you are getting ~40 elo a game in your placement matches will it fluctuate that much, and in semi-rare circumstances when you have a really high elo person on your team, you will lose more elo/gain less, and when you are vs a really high elo person, lose less, gain more.
