If anything, it's recommended because you'll be able to connect more with your viewers and plenty of people include their summoner name, rank, match history, most played champs, etc. in an introduction chapter to provide legitimacy to their guide. As long as your guide isn't only about self-promotion, then you're completely fine :)
Yes links for Twitch, YouTube or twitter are generally allowed for guides and can also be placed in your signature if done so tastefully, like Emikadon said
Threads however are not the place to advertise guides and streams unless done so in the proper Sub-Forum, not saying that you are self advertising it was an honest question.
