Hello everyone,

Just got back in to league. Also was able to buy some rune pages on sale before I stopped playing. Was wondering what to do for a rune page for supports. I know this is generic and each support should technically have differing runes but are there any sets that you could more or less use as a "universal" set of runes for support characters?

Thanks,
Gruuk

This. If you're only going to run one support run page, this. The seals are basically standard on everyone right now and the glyphs are also playable on/against a lot of top laners and some AD carries.

The MR/lvl glyphs can be replaced by flat MR, but in general I'd prefer MR/lvl for most supports due the lack of realistic itemization choices for MR as a support (there's Merc's and then basically nothing, and I've often found that I do better as a support when I don't spend any gold upgrading my boots until I've already got two aura items). Yes, magic damage will hurt more early game, but by level 6 they break even, so I'm willing to take the hit for the first several minutes of the game.

sometimes you may want to consider GP/10 seals too.

you can take GP10 seals vs lanes that are pretty weak in laning phase.

e.g. Ashe + Janna.

I actually use them a lot only stay away from them against draven, corki and graves
since I usually get armor marks that works out

EDIT:
oh - and if you wanna go full HAM e.g. with Blitz I sometimes run this:
(other supports can benefit from MPEN Marks)

GP10 Quints
GP10 Seals
AD Marks
MR/MRlvl Quints

well.. just don't trade but instakill lol
