My Tristana guide might help if you want to play ADC; it'd help in some other aspects too but it's probably not worth reading the whole thing if you don't intend to play ADC.
There's not really such a thing as a "PVP" guide, it's assumed that everyone plays PVP. Any guide you read will be about PVP. If you struggle in PVP after coming over from co-op vs AI you just need some more PVP experience, which you can only get by playing PVP. Don't ever play co-op, even just to try out new champs, if you're wanting to improve, PVP is the only real way to do so.
In conclusion: PVP.

yeah, I understand that... after all thats how I learned to pvp, but i've got 2 brothers that refuse to play pvp because they were slaughtered in their first games, and their teams were not hesitant to let them know it. I've talked to many other players who have had similar experiences, and I want to write a guide that will help them to know how to become an asset to their teams, giving themselves at least a small cushion of protection from those idiot flamers by helping them know important tips that you just can't learn without playing pvp and being told.
essentially its a guide for skills that they would need otherwise, but letting them know in advance so that they can begin learning before someone rants and screams about them feeding the enemy (when in actuality they are trying their best)
I've already put in some research for this and some skills i'm hoping to cover in the said guide are as such
1) trading
2) lane danger zones
3) warding and obtaining info
4) importance of cs to stay ingame
5) importance of communication
these are NOT in order of importance, but please feel free to ad anything you feel is also important, or to tell me to move up one that exists in priorty. Shoot them down if they aren't as important as I thought, or tell me to put it as a side note. Anything would be helpful, I just want to help all these newer players to have a better experience with the game rather than throwing it to the side because they are starting out and someone else can't handle that. So please, share your insights, and I will +Rep anyone who does.
Thx in advance

Start off by giving yourself obtainable goals, and once you meet them consistently not just once but consistently over and over again add some new ones
A few examples being setting a CS goal it could be to reach a certain number of CS by 20 minutes 100 is good to start then try 125, then 150 etc.
Or having the least amount of deaths on your team.
Or having the most damage if applicable
Or making better trades in lane
And another thing I will add when working on Map Awareness playing Champions with Global ults are one of the best ways to get better at it. Just play
Karthus Press R when enemies are low,
Soraka Press R when Allies are low. Or even better play
Shen or
Twisted Fate since their ults really do require decent map awareness to be effective.
Even if don't like playing or maining these champions they normally teach good habits when comes to map awareness since you are always looking for a good time to use your ult

Thanks for that, i didn't even consider map awareness but you are so right, that is a VERY important skill to have (admittedly one i need to work on as well). I'm definitely gonna talk about that when i do the guide.
BTW i was reading my previous posts and realized that i forgot to mention this, but I will mention everyone who helped me to build this (unless you post you dont want me too) so I DON'T intend to just take players comments and run them as my own, so thank you for your posts guys. :)

There are lots of skills you need to learn but most of the time some skills can only be developed when you're playing a certain role.
Mid:
Trading (combination of minion manipulation and matchup knowledge)
Roaming + Ganking + Map Awareness(planning and predicting) which is only possible if you use...
Vision (denying or granting, effective warding is very important as mid laner! since you can ward most roaming routes towards bot)
Farming (keeping up with farm while roaming, would look at faker ahri videos)
Top (No expert here):
Trading (combination of minion manipulation and matchup knowledge)
Ganking (planning and predicting) which is only possible if you use...
Vision + Map Awareness (here it's important to maintain vision throughout the laning phase)
Farming (outfarming, top laners should have the most cs)
Jungle:
Objectives (coordinating/planning which objective to take - huge communication skill)
Lanes/Ganks (snowball the most favourable lane, get a lead for them, denying enemy from gold)
Farm (keep up with even if you're most of the time roamiing)
Counter ganking/Map Awareness (mostly map awareness and making conclusion about enemy position)
ADC:
Farm (get as much as possible)
Trading (matchup knowledge, powerspikes!)
Minion wave manipulation (one way to stay safe or deny the enemy from gold, applies for top too)
Positioning! (ADCs have most of the time less tools to survive)
Huge Damage Output while staying safe!
Support:
Literally everything except farming
+ Adapting Builds
+ Protecting the ADC
+ high skill-shot hit rate
+ cooldown tracking (summoners spells as well opponents, applies for everyone!!)
I think there is more but I can't remember right now

Another note, do you think that i will need to be ranked b4 people will find a guide about this credible?
I want to help people but I've realized recently that people may not feel it worthwhile seeing as how i haven't even reached lvl 30 (not yet, but soon)

In your case it's really difficult. You haven't reached level 30 yet which is a requirement, at least that's what recommended by known guie authors. Something that could make you credible is either former knowledge in a different game with the same genre (MOBA) and with a high rank or provide incredible knowledge with a long history with LoL, a person who played for a long time or is an old member of this forum, aka veteran.
My tip is to reach level 30 and try to get to gold. I didn't touch every subject but while you climb, you might gather a lot of knowledge. You're gonna get upvotes or downvotes regardless of your rank. Even high rated guide authors started small and got as well downvotes.
Instead of teaching you could share the knowledge you gained so far. Guides are also there discuss.
Do what vapora says and play the game as much as possible. That's the number 1 rule to learn PVP.

Does anyone know of any such guides, OR have useful tips on important skills (such as last hitting or warding) that you feel, if paid heed, would help more players to be a benefit to their teams in PvP?
I'm also hoping to take any tips you guys may give me and (eventually) write up a PvP for dummies guide for new players, so that new players can come in with some basic know how and not be dead to the idea after their first PvP fight. If you would prefer that I don't use your tips, just let me know...
