There is really no bad thing about the new map, except the lost nostalgic. Everything looks better. The buffs are a lot more obvious now compared to the smaller camps. Dragon and Baron are badass and not creatures you wanna easily toy with. (A giant thing with 1000 eyes? Looks like the teddy from
Lee Sin to me)
Also, the graphic of the map is a cool philosophy which brings more in-deph creativity into the map, which also tells you about where you are.

I like the look, and it makes the old one kinda look garbage. :/ Without realizing I found that it's now in Normals. I really don't like how the second the dragon is attacked it gives a gust of wind to blow you back, but I can understand how that could be something for fighting over dragon. However, going into the bushes along the edge of bot lane does show your shadows on the rocks below. I understand it's not finished, but I was surprised to see it in Normals before that was taken care of.
Eyy
The new map is great. I don't miss the old map at all, the new one is way better and they did achieve their goal of more clarity.
I see why some might miss the old map just because they have been playing on it for ages... but I think the updated SR has a lot more positive stuff than the old one. Especially with the upcoming preseason changes. It's going to be an amazing new season (:

The only thing I noticed is how monsters look much better, my brain doesn't give a damn about the map because as soon as I am in lane I can't appreciate what I'm seeing. It's the same with skins, hence why I give so much value to splash arts.

I agree with Falseo on that. it looks real nice when you're actually looking at it, but in the heat of battle you seldom get to pay attention to it.
However the map does feel more unique now. Lots of vibrant colors and the minions have been improved (which I actually do notice and can appreciate).

I don't know how I feel about the initial drag knockback, either. I haven't had it come into play yet, when fighting over dragon, but I guess time will tell.

Baron and dragon look awesome and the new jungle camps are pretty nice. What do you guys think? Have you been playing Teambuilder games to try the new map and how do you feel about it?
I personally thought it looked too much like Dota when Riot first released the sneak peek video, but in game it feels much different.
