So I want to get one of the collector packs, mostly just to get the champs which would be really expensive and time consuming (either IP/RP). I know I can buy the game in the store for $20, but I'm not sure how much it is in-game (@ work right now).

Anyway, which is "better" to get in YOUR opinion? Also, are they more expensive ingame than in a regular store?

Thanks!

It is cheaper to buy it instore, ingame it will cost you about~$30. You're better off buying it in a store than ingame.

I am pretty sure the in-store and in-game packs each give a different set of champions, so if you bought both you would not be wasting the money. Double check though, that might have changed. The in-store pack I'm pretty sure also comes with some bonus Riot points, which you could use towards the in-game pack to make it cheaper. At least it used to, I haven't checked if it still does :)

I did some research, and the in-game pack gives Goth Annie. Store pack gives Silver Kayle.

Yea it says in the store version you get judicator kayle (I don't really play Kayle though), and also "in game currency". Not sure if that is IP or RP but I'll keep checking. I'm trying to decide which pack would be better for someone like me. I have bought MF, WW, Nunu, Ryze, Ashe, Swain, Tristana (got for free), Udyr and Shen- so I don't want to buy a pack where I have almost half of the roster (I'm printing out the list now to compare).

Anyone know which of the packs has the most viable/played champs? Like for instance, one of them has Amumu who is a good tank, and would be good to get (although he's only like 585 RP?).

Thanks for the answers by the way, I really appreciate it.

it gives you rp, because you spent money.

luckily it looks like half the champs you own (MF, swain, udyr, shen) are new champs, err non-beta ones. the main package is all the beta champs i believe.

I bought the game. I enjoy having a lot of characters. And I love LoL. So your decision.
