I've always done well against him as Nasus by playing passively but standing my ground, and Kayle by simply going to his face since level 1. Level 2 Q+E wins you the trade, and if he is dumb enough to commit he will die.

I've seen two Fiora players do the same, they simply got to those guys' faces without any regrets.

Basically, I think you need a great early game duelist and commit to kill the guy ASAP, or getting a huge sustain champ. If you get a duelist but play reservedly, you'll most likely be poked out of lane in no time.

Definitely go Cho'Gath. Despite what people think Cho'Gath can do serious damage simply by auto-attacking, and at level 6 Cho should always win a fight unless Yorick's jungler had it out for him.

Cho is also far better in team fights and scales better into late game.
