We had an issue with our javascript which was breaking several things. We combine all our javascript files in to one automatically to reduce overhead a bit while loading the page, but the trade off is if one file has an issue, the whole thing breaks, which causes a lot of strange issues on the site. There were a few other issues posted to the support forum at the same time as this one, all related to the javascript breaking.
