I use the 4.something and it doesn't have any errors. I'm sure 3.lastone won't have any problems either.
Also, I think I read somewhere Matt saying that the pictures are not really on the site, they're on some host that will load the images from the server that's closest to you (something like that).
If your friends are having problems with the images too then the problem might be on the server and not you.

I managed to block a border picture on the site a while ago. That removed about 20% of the site content >.>
I got it back by going into the options and removing the "block". May not be relevant, but do try.
