Not sure if it's intended to, but I've tried to make a heading 1 look green and the text size wouldn't increase.

I think you could never change the color of the heading 1, but I am not 100% sure. You can instead use heading 2 or change the size of the font and make it bold.
EDIT: For example like this: Text
Code:
[color=#008000][size=5][b]Text[/b][/size][/color]
This seems to work normally to me?
[color=green][h1]Hello[/h1][/color] =
If anything it seems like the heading is smaller than it used to be, hmm...
Note you can also use [size] (from 1 to 7) if you want it be bigger (size 3 = standard text size):
[size=7][color=green]Hello[/color][/size] =
Hello
[color=green][h1]Hello[/h1][/color] =
Hello

[size=7][color=green]Hello[/color][/size] =

Ok I think I know whats going on: it works here on forum, but it doesn't work in guide. I just tried to paste what you have written in my guide, which I have already tried before as well, but it didn't work.

I'm making a guide, and it doesnt work there. Here's the coding and the result:
Code:
[color=#008000][center][u][h1]Tier 1[/h1][/u][/center][/color]
Now the headline works but the color doesn't. Perhaps because the color was added last, and the first time it was before the h1 (from the inside out)
I'll copy your coding and let you know the result
Edit: Here's the result with Wayne's coding:
I see, thanks for the clarification. Will see what we can do about that ;)
Edit: for the record, [center][u][h1][color=#008000]Tier 1[/color][/h1][/u][/center] does work but then it ignores the h1 tag. Would recommend using [size] instead.

Thanks! Will try now.
P.D: It now colours differently and the size is bigger, but I only get white with
Code:
[color=#00ffff][/color]
