Well, there is nothing in the system to prevent you from ranking a skill more than 5 times. So it shouldn't be a problem I don't think.

I'm referring to the database, which only has 5 columns for changing skill mana costs and cooldowns.

Oh, right. Well I can change that, although that's probably not as important as having the skill descriptions allow for the extra skillups, which the system should handle as is.
