I believe it's a skill icon for a canceled champion - possibly one of Averdrian's skills.

Morgana, Sivir, Twisted Fate, and Veigar have new splash art for their thumbnail pics.
Veigar's picture doesn't load in his champion page.
A lot of the time Sona's thumbnail pic will look corrupted (streaky lines) and Alistar's thumbnail seems to not load a lot more than the others. Not really sure what was up with these but they seem to be working now.
Oh, and how do you guys pick which picture to put in the champion page? If you just pick your favorites, I approve of your tastes. ;)
