Never happened to me tbh either on FF or Chrome. I only get logged of if i didnt login for a long time (2-3 days). Might be stuff that Matt can fix, give some feedback about it on separate topic.
In mobafire people were upset that their builds were randomly getting -1's and that they don't deserve it because people weren't giving good reasons or saying that they were getting trolled on..etc...
Agreed, any build can get a -1 even if that build didnt deserve it... well its not working that way. Its not that a guide "deserves or not" the -1. TBH only builds that are total spam "deserve" getting -1 in my eyes. Rest is subjective judgment. I would for instance give EVERY guide that will force idea of making AP Master Yi, becouse in my eyes it will deserve it. I dont. Why? Coz its something you can do, like AD/AS Zilean build and so on. Troll votes are imho only votes that are made by a multi-acc person just for sake of lowering the build score ratio. Any other one is as valid as any other. IDC if it is just "this build sucks" or 6000 char description about what the build is wrong about. Ppl will not do it. Why? Coz it is easier to make own build and state it there!
How the scoring of scores went down.... 50% of people would give you +1 if it was good...and more if you had a nice description....around 10~30% would give you -1's....not only are people who give you -1's randomly hated by you...[depending if your that kind of person that gets mad fast...or if your pretty patient] but you call them "Trolls"...especially when about 10% gave good advice..[YEAH IK!, a negative comment gives good advice? What kind of crack does trace smoke?]....I don't.. ;/...
OK i could agree on that one. 50% of ppl will give you +1 for a reasonable build, not some kind of wierd-o-matic AD/AS Zilean builds. 10-30% will credit you with a +1 for a nice description that makes 80% giving you +1 and about 20% a -1 by what you describe that all those ppl are BAD PPL, trolls, haters and so on. Well back to the +1 only scores where new guides did not stand a chance of even getting somewhere?

I will not agree. From what Matt told me ppl accualy make a "smurf" acc for voting and normal one for posting guides. If you think that way it's probably what YOU could do when you would get a -1. Payback time? Every opinion is an opinion, even if they leave totaly useless comment, well they didnt like it (coz it looked too pretty or they think their guide is better simply). You cant always count for a creative critisizm. Ppl often dont like the idea overall, or it just didnt work for them or they had (in their opinion) diferent idea for a champion. If you wrote a guide you instantly treat what you posted as 100% valid and sure of what you wrote. It becomes "flawless" guide in your head even if you "ask for feedback", in most scenarios you would just defend your points 1st with both hands and legs. This makes any -1 vote a total disaster for the creator.
Now... "making topics and forcing ppl to comment" - eee? what do you have in mind? this whole "comment-to-vote" option crying on forums in multiple topics? You said it is "sad" but you will use it. Doesnt this make you a hyporcite already?
So people have always said...This build "SUCKS" it doesn't even give a explanation...and people usually give it a -1...for wasting their time.. no description etc.....
So why is it that builds that are not even finished... are getting higher rates than builds that gave a general view...or detailed view?....Is it fair that half-***ed builds are getting random +1's... while builds that are much better are being rated the same?...[Yeah, this all depends on the build...and some other stuff]
It is again a subjective statement here. For one person Master Yi played as AP makes 100% sense and making him on AD/AS is totaly stupid. For some ppl an idea of itemisation is enaugh to make their playstyle WAY better coz it will sute their preferences way more than super described guide that didnt work for that particular person. If a "not valid" build gets a "random +1" this means that it probably deserved that +1 more than those superior guides out there for that person. Why? Well its easy to find a good guide with nice desc and so on, but way harder to find a diferent one that is looking ****py or is even without desc but that sutes your playstyle WAY MORE than the big and shiny guide.
Veterans....yes, you guys complained mostly about this...But let me point out what you guys don't notice.

So what does this mean?
Your build STANDS OUT! Your 2x or 3x most likely to get your build looked at right away compared to regular people who had their build out for weeks.. and got like 1 or 2 comments? and you have like 20?
Don't even get me started with the ***-kissing that you guys randomly get from others..."nice build +1"..
Okay if it was nice.. what the fk did you like about it....what was your score?....Oh "I liked your green name +1"...<~~ is what i always feel like their saying.
Now the Bad part...
since your build is more likely to be seen...your 2x or 3x more likely to see trolls in your build...but usually people who read will over power any troll any day.
Why we complain? Well most of the Vets are the most active ppl in the community. We often have fiew builds and we care about them, updating, answering comments and so on. I dont know any Vet that made a spam build. Cau made fiew fun builds but he made it official that this is a joke build. Ppl (including vets) put alot of work in some of those guides and get annoyed when they see their guide beeing pushed to a lvl of a spam build. As we are constantly active, post alot on forums and so on, it is noticeable that we are annoyed. Probably way more ppl whine about it but as they are not that active they stay in the shadow of vets QQ.
Green name. Yes it has a "recomendation". But is it bad? Have you ever saw a vet spamming with useless build ****? I personaly didnt. Our builds get looked at ofc more often but its not 100% the deal that we have a green name. Ppl tend to look at em anyway (even if it has a bad score) coz they know Vets are usualy doing at least a good job on guides. Its something WE HARDLY WORKED FOR.
Why you would consider a polite comment always an ***-kiss? They dont get ANYTHING by ***-kissing. So why bother? Maybe ppl wanted to just say thanks in that way. They had to create acc to do so. I even got fiew comments that clearly stated that my build totaly helped som1 and he made an acc just to write a comment of "nice build +1".
Remember that we still have MANY good guide creators that dont have "green name"!
Just look at THIS. Only 1 (and he is a freshmen still) Veteran among best rated guides! And if you look at THIS you will see that we have alot non-green ppl among most viewed guides also.
Make a decent guide and you will get noticed. Admins do alot of work to promote new ppl and new builds, believe me.
Builds are to help newer people learn about that character and learn about how you play that character. Maybe if people weren't such ***e's some people wouldn't randomly -1 your build.
Its their choice. And I dont care if it was a -1 coz som1 had a bad day at work/school or it was a -1 coz they didnt like the build. Its their opinion. Nothing we can do about it and i hope we wont.
Overall:
-1 and +1 Comments that give no information are worthless comments sometimes. Guys.. give scores...tell them what you liked/didn't like. It takes less than a minute....
+1 comments that say what they like are worth reading, if they comment on something they want you to try out its even better. These are people who provably read your build and you should be happy
-1 comments that tell you what your missing or why they gave you a -1 are the best comments. Are that 5% that are fading away.

That is why i dont have that option enabled. For you it doesnt matter for me too, just dont enable it. If som1 triggered this on that means FOR HIM/HER it DOES matter. its their choice.
Just focus on yourself not on others. Do your job best as you can and be happy. If you start thinking about ratings too much you will end up like ppl that archived their guides coz of some trolls (sorry guys). Coz if they do it... troll wins... troll is happy... troll will troll even more.
