Draven and Varus are more AD Carry bot champs. That leaves Zed, Lee Sin, and Jayce. I think Jayce looks fun but is tough to master, so I would say choose between Lee Sin and Zed. If you have RP, Zed is on sale right now. I bought him and tried using him. He seemed a little squishy and apparently can be countered by some common top laners like Singed, Irelia, Wukong, Rumble, and Jax.
Lee Sin on the other hand isn't really countered by much but is weak late game.

There is a specific thread made for this that alot of people visit frequently, the What Champion to Buy Helper, please use it in the future:

ok scott i dont want to beret you but your suggestion is fairly flawed for one its a common miss conception that zed goes top, he can go top yes but hes actually a mid champion, and you dont mention that leesin is the hardest champion in the game to learn and probably shouldn't be picked up by a noob, jace i dont really know much about but out of the three he said hes probably the easiest to learn because zed is fairly hard to pick up as well not saying he shouldnt use him but when fisrt using him it will be fairly hard to learn how to use his shadows well. but i do agree with trying jax irelia rumble, and dont be afraid to try zed currently he my main and i love him

all credit for this amazing sig goes to the nameless bard
if you thought what i said was worth it a rep would be rainbow pony awesome

Everyone I had talked to said that Jayce was tough to pick up, so that's what I was going by. I really liked Zed and I think he seemed like an easy to learn but hard to master kind of champ.
I just read the guide that was in the link Overmyynd posted and I agree that Shen is a great top to start learning with. I need to go back and play with him some more to focus more on improving my map awareness.
Also, I forgot to throw in Teemo as a low cost champ for top that while he is unlike most top champs, can be so fun to play once you learn to use him right.
if you are new then maybe steer away from Lee sin and maybe zed they are quite difficult to play well (lee sin expecially) zed mechanics are easier than lee sin but you need to make really good decisions with zed otherwise you are kind of useless to the team i think.
i would suggest wu kong or darius top... maybe teemo (though i hate that little bugger)..Fizz can play mid and top pretty well

I agree with this as wu, darius, and teemo have a much easier learning curve than any of the champs you listed and are all used on top. You can roll teemo mid also. I wouldn't suggest any of the champs you listed for you if you really are new to the game. Each one of those champs is a little more advanced. I have never seen varus or draven played top and rarely have I seen varus mid. I wouldn't suggest Fizz to a new player either. Though he can mid and top. I'm thinking you picked the listed champs on how 'cool' you think they look not based on how they fit into your play style. New free champs each week. Try before you buy I always say.
