Hey! GO ME! Finally reached level 30 haha. Got a good amount of runes ready to go, and can't wait to start playing ranked, but I don't think my skill level is good enough for it yet. So, anyway, I wanna start getting ready to play ranked.

I have played most champs in the game at one point or another, but i am definitely more of a "jack of all trades" than dedicated to a few champs. However, I think that may work to my disadvantage when I start ranked. I know counterpicking is important, but I definitely wanna have a few champs in my pocket that I am very confident I will be able to help myself climb to higher ELO.

Since I iimagine I will be starting at low ELO, I just want a few suggestions of champs that can help carry out of low ELO. I know any champ *can* do it, depending on player skill, but some champs must have an easier time. I basically want 2-3 champs (maybe in different roles) that can really take over a game, so I can start playing them primarily and honing my skills. Thanks y'all!

Note: I definitely do better with beefier champs than super-squishies. I find that I have an aggressive playstyle and like to be in the middle of the action, and not bursted down in 0.5 seconds. Doesn't need to be a tank (I actually prefer being able to do a little damage while staying alive) but someone w a little defense helps!

Disclaimer: I am the world's worst Akali player. I hope she's not a suggestion :(

GP, Riven and Shen for the top (can also jungle nicely)
As a mid, train a lot Kassadin (as people wont know how to play against him), Cassiopeia and maybe Galio+kennen (can top too)
Junglers : Skarner, Shyvana, Rammus (may have less dmg than the 2 first, 2 first can top too) and Shaco
Support : Sona and soraka
AD : Graves.
Those are some champ doing great in their rôle, with different way to success (gank, counterjungling, strong cc, etc)

However, GP, Kassadin and Shaco are common bans at this elo. Between Rammus and skarner, one of them is often banned.

You can't be wrong with Kennen, Galio, GP and Skarner. (think about Cass, she rapes mid but is not that tanky)

Be aggressive but don't go alone in fight, and in the lane, have a high creep score (not if support)

PS : vladimir <3
English is not my native langage, I'm sorry about how painful to read my text are :c

I think the best thing to do is to get REALLY good at playing 2-3 champs / 1 role, and always try to get that role / one of those champs. Be able to play other roles, but make it clear that that is your best role. I find that when I call what I want to do early in champion select people are pretty accommodating.

Also, always be courteous and don't rage. If you lose a game, stop playing ranked for that day. Communicate with your team.
Thanks to GrandMasterD for my sig!

Ryze Kennen gankplank Talon Singed Lee Sin Rammus Olaf Sion

essentialy, what you'll be looking for is a melee champ that can handle top solo. even if the meta is ****ed and it's 2 of u up top, look for champs that are ideal for solo, and that'll make your pick a lot easier. hope this helps!
