A lane is considered what portion of the map you're responsible for (with the exception of jungle, the jungle champion is a roamer). A role is what you're responsible for in your team composition. Note that some champions can fill the support role and another role (such as tank support). [color=#0080ff][b]Tanks[/b][/color] get in there, distract, stall, absorb damage, protect. [color=#00ffff][b]Off-Tanks[/b][/color] do what tanks do, but are not as fat, while also dishing out their own damage.
