I am new and I have spent some time reading about the game and I am finding it incredibly frustrating. I join a game and get matched with HORRIBLE players and its just constant loss after constant loss. They run past me when I am being targeted and I am the HEALER and let me die. They don't level up at all so I am lvl 10 and they are lvl 5. They don't buy the right items or any at all and I feel like my competition is so much smarter.

I want to play this game, I want to like this game, but this is getting really annoying fast. Lose, Lose, Lose...not fun.

Help?

Thanks,

ipoach

You sound like you must be low-level yourself?
If so, that ought to explain it. You can always try
teaming up with friends ^^. Alternatively, you can try
talk your way to victory ^^, by being a positive force
on your team. Even though it's taxing.

Some people say that jungle at low levels is pretty hard but if you can do it you can really carry your team. Try Shen, is a really good jungler with great sustentability and amazing ganks.

Why are his ganks Amazing though?
I feel that's a bit over the top ^^.
But indeed, Jungling low-level can be
challenging. Kind of sucks dying to the
blue buff :D

What you probably need to do is stick to bots for a couple more levels until the ******s get past first grade. I understand your frustration, i have experienced it myself (as have likely 99.99999% of all people who play this game), but you gotta push through it. If you ever need help honing your skills, or just have a question about the smart thing to do in a situation, give me a shout out. My IGN is The Overmynd, feel free to add me.

Well, you can try adding some more experienced friends, possibly from the enemy team, or you can try co-op vs AI till you reach a high level. But even at level 30 you'll sometimes be with newbs. Just today i was playing a game in summoner's rift and my entire team fed the enemys. Luckily i was able to get some early kills playing with Ahri (<3 Ahri so much). And even though they fed we still won. Sometimes when youre playing with completely unskilled players, they'll need a leader, and if youre doing better than them, be that leader! For example if the enemy team is all together and can destroy your team in teamfights you need to tell them to split up and you might get a turret down, maybe even two.
+Rep if I was of any assistance or just for hugs :3 <3

If you play too much Co-op vs. AI you will become bad yourself though. Playing against bots is nothing like playing against people. I just wouldn't suggest playing it exclusively to level.

I would suggest teaming up with other people before going to co-op games. Get friends to join you etc. I checked your match history and you've only played a total of 5 games. The way the matchmaking system works is if you keep losing it will put you against progressively worse players, and if you keep winning it will put you against progressively better players. So, eventually you should find a good balance.

This game takes a while to learn. It's taking the people you're playing with a while to learn as well. Give it a little more time and see if you still like it. :)
Thanks to GrandMasterD for my sig!

Thanks all, I really appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately I don't know anyone who plays this, but I will stick it out and hope to play with better people. Are there guilds/clans in this game? I feel like I could give and get a lot out of one. And I am all about learning from my peers, so I'll take any and all advice!
