Hey guys, just hit level 30 on my second account, and I wasted way too much IP buying champs and not enough for runes. So I am playing major catchup on runes.

This account is mainly going to be for jungling, so right now all I have is:

Red: ArPen
Yellow: Armor
Blue: MR/level
Quint: ArPen

On another account I jungle Skarner and Udyr a ton, so I know I need to invest in AtkSpd Reds.

But basically, I just am curious what runes you would prioritize for junglers. I.e. what runes would you buy, and which would you buy first/second/third etc. Thanks guys!

(On another note, I am curious about jungling resources - I want TheOddOne and Saintvicious streams. Anything else I should be watching/reading? Thanks!)

Depends what champion you want to play.

+15 AD, +6.6 AD, etc, can all be viable in those rune sets for champions like Lee Sin, for example.

Who are you planning on playing?

Well ideally, in the long haul, I really wanna focus just on jungling, so I feel like I should be able to play a wide variety of champs in the jungle. Need a tanky jungler w some CC - check Maokai. Need more AP - Fiddle. That kinda thing. So I know I am going to need a ton of runes in the long haul. Just trying to figure out which ones might make sense to invest in first.

If you want quality jungling I wouldn't recommend Fiddle. He is pretty bad jungler overall and can be easily crushed by stealing his blue. Karthus is a pretty popular AP jungler at the moment. Well I would have to say that all runes depend on champion when jungling but Armor Seals are almost absolute choice for every jungler.

Anyway this is my overall setup for jungle:

Flat AD Marks
Flat Armor Seals
MR/level Glyphs
2xArP Quints + 1xFlat Health Quints

Runes also depend a bit on you're starting items and your route, do you want to start jungling and gank quick or gain few levels before ganking.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

Seing what you already have :
AD Marks, then AS Marks. Going ArPen marks+quints is too much, even on target having more armor than you have ArPen (see all the threads about Ad-carry optimisation, some maths discutions).
-> AD marks+arpen quints would also help if you have to play AD, great need of ad to last hit.

You could then aim MPen marks, i use them on rammus and amumu.
And then, look at some defensive quints, as HP or even armor, some junglers being based on their tankyness even in the first fights (rammus, amumu)

I didnt do the maths for arpen/ad marks and quints, which is better etc. Maybe AD quint then, to maximise the potential of junglers needing both ad and arpen, and helping the purely based AD champs.
