Hi, my name is Wayne3100 and welcome to the MOBAFire Patch Discussion - 4.19!
In this post, we take a look at some of the biggest changes this patch will bring to the Rift, including changes to Singed and Sion, nerfs to Lucian and Ryze, a whole bunch of champion splash art updates and the reveal of Victorious Morgana! Make sure to check out the full patch notes by clicking here and feel free to leave your comments below!
Champion Changes
Singed has received the quality of life tweaks which were mentioned in the Champion Update post which was released by Riot earlier today: Flinging an enemy into Mega Adhesive Zone will now snare them for 1 second and the bug affecting Fling should be fixed. For those of you who missed the bug entirely, here's a video of Dyrus encountering it.
Following up on his rework from a month ago, Riot has given Sion a number of quality of life changes & bug fixes to boost the power of this tanky behemoth. Most notably, Sion's health while in passive will no longer decay based on a percentage of his own max health, so he's no longer punished for building HP.
Finally, Riot decided to tone down Lucian by significantly increasing the cooldown on his ultimate, while also nerfing the base damage of Ryze's Overload, hurting his ability to bully out a lane opponent early on.
Splash Art Updates!
As part of an ongoing process to replace some of the oldest base splash arts in the game, Riot has included updates for a whopping amount of 18 champions in this patch! To view the full sized splash art of the champion you're interested in, click on the icon. Note that we will update these in the MOBAFire database as soon as possible.
Upcoming Skins
Riot has finally unveiled the splash art for the Victorious Morgana skin! This skin will be granted to players who have reached the Gold tier or higher in any ranked queue at the end of the season (for more info on that, click here). The skin features Morgana posing in what looks to be some sort of cathedral, with the Victorious Janna and Elise skins being displayed on stained glass in the background. Click on the image below to view it in full size!
In addition to that, the Reaper Soraka skin will be released at some time during patch 4.19 and will cost 1350 RP.
